Allison and Susie support families as a doula team through Two Doulas and You! As a team, we are able to make sure our birthing families have the best support at all times. Doula support is strengthened with TWO compassionate, experienced doulas that will support, empower and journey with you from the moment of hire - through pregnancy, birth, and immediate postpartum, nurturing a positive, connected, satisfying birth experience. Prenatally, we are a resource for evidence-based information, we are a safe space to talk through any fears or concerns, get to know your birth desires and preferences to assist with birth planning and preparation, practice comfort measures and laboring positions, and provide guidance, perspective, and support of experienced care. In labor, we offer physical comfort support - such as relaxation techniques, TENS therapy, position changes, counterpressure, massage, hydrotherapy, and prioritizing protecting the birth space environment. We assist in advocacy support by helping facilitate communication between you and your provider; emotionally, we will listen to you, share encouraging words, hold space, and be a consistent presence in the journey to meeting your baby. We will come alongside your partner (if applicable) to provide the perfect support team for you, share perspective and guidance, we assist them in helping comfort you during labor, so they have a positive, connected birth experience too. 

Birth doula support includes: on-call support 24/7 from the moment of hire, unlimited text/phone/email support, 2-3 prenatal meetings, access to a weekly virtual support group, continuous labor and birth support, and 1 postpartum meeting.
